Hands up if you hate talking about yourself? Yeah, I hate it too but apparently, it’s important AND you have to talk about yourself in the third person, so here goes…

About Me
I’m a very proud Londoner and I’ve been fortunate enough to call this incredible city my home for the last decade. I’m also a very proud woman of colour in the blogosphere representing South Asian women – there aren’t a lot of us around! I’m really passionate about diversity and using my platform for good. It’s worth reading the post I wrote about why representation matters.
My blog is my baby but it is my side-hustle alongside my day job. For years, I worked in the fashion industry alongside running my blog. I started out by managing social media campaigns for Clothing at Tesco before leading digital marketing for Phase Eight, heading up digital brand relations at Harrods and launching a global fashion/tech start-up founded by Jose Neves. And now? I lead Influencer Marketing in the UK and Australia for a global tech company, which I absolutely love. Yup…I don’t really get the Monday blues and yes, I’m a unicorn 🙂
Though I’ve swapped fashion for tech professionally, the former still has my heart. For nearly a decade I’ve worked in fashion during the day and blogged by night and I’ve learned a hell of a lot about the industry. I still geek out over trends, designers and the general business of fashion. What makes me tick? Discovering emerging, independent designers, the highest of heels and diversity.
Aside from fashion, my world is consumed by food and travel. Ideally at the same time. I’ve travelled to 40+ countries across 5 continents and often dream about all of the incredible places I’ve yet to discover. My favourite places include Cambodia, Kenya, Vietnam, Cuba, Bali, Italy and Malaysia. What’s on my bucket list? In no particular order: Namibia, Galapagos, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Colombia.
