So last week, the lovely team at Sweaty Betty arranged one of the most fun weeks ever – the Sweaty Betty Bootcamp. I know it may sound terrifying to some but I was super excited, spending the week with some fitness babes and trying everything from HIIT with Barry’s Bootcamp to an urban run around Soho. Unfortunately, I came down with an illness the week before which turned out to be a chest infection so I missed the entire week as well as all of my other fitness commitments. Bummer. As well as organising an amazing blogger bootcamp, Sweaty Betty are also one of my favourite activewear brands. I struggle to find brands which look great aesthetically but also have the all-important practicality down. Its all well and good having a great air of leggings, but unless they are made of a decent fabric which wicks away moisture quickly, they’re pretty pointless for exercise. I used to swear by Adidas by Stella McCartney when I used to run; it was the perfect marriage between the sportswear technical knowledge at Adidas coupled with the covetable design aesthetic of Stella. Nowadays, I’m more into ballet and yoga which are a little more gentle but still require clothing which merges function and fashion, particularly for my ashtanga yoga classes which tend to be more athletic and definitely give me a solid aerobic workout (read: sweaty). Here are my top five pieces from Sweaty Betty’s gorgeous yoga collection: 1.Halsana ¾ yoga leggings – £65 2.Virasana padded yoga bra – £38 3.Savasana yoga top – £55 4.Barre grip socks – £12 5.Eco yoga mat – £40
