One of my favourite things about London Fashion Week is spotting emerging designers at a presentation and watching them flourish; graduating to shows and seeing more and more stockists added to their roster. I harp on about how brilliant London is for supporting young design talent and it’s never more evident than when you see their ascent first hand. I remember seeing Teatum Jones‘ first presentation and being struck by the delicate beauty and subtle balance between masculinity and femininity. Seeing their SS15 show this season, I couldn’t help but to feel really pleased for the design duo. The show certainly made an impact, supported by a full choir and inspired by Nina Simone, the palette consisted of deep navy and soothing baby blues and pinks. Details included strong silhouettes, exaggerated curves, Swarovski crystals and high collars. Beautiful.
