Recently announced as the first-ever recipient of the BFC/GQ Designer Menswear Fund, Christopher Shannon’s show was one of the hot tickets at London Collections: Men. Dedicating both the award and his SS15 show to his mentor Louise Wilson, Christopher’s collection channelled his bold brash streetwear aesthetic along with a generous helping of emo teen angst. Citing teenage scrapbooks and sticker books as a reference, the collection featured handmade graphic collages as well as cut out patches. Surprisingly wearable, cut outs aside, this is a fantastic collection from one of the brightest stars of the LC:M roster.
