The decadent ballroom of The Savoy was the backdrop of a rather rock ‘n’ roll, punk-inspired collection from Moschino Cheap and Chic. The show opened with monochrome looks which made way for a sprinkling of bubblegum pink, whilst textures included everything from shaggy faux fur to sleek satin. Favouring bold prints which included micro and oversize scribbles, polkda dot and leopard print, this autumn/winter collection is bold, brash and totally in your face. Detailing such as safety pin fastened skirts, studded collars and ostentatious diamond drop earrings heightened the punk feel of the collection. More prim punk princess than Camden punk, Moschino Cheap and Chic’s collection was as luxe as we would expect from the mainline label but with lashings of wit and humour we expect from Cheap and Chic.
