By the time I popped in to see Adam Andrascik’s spring/summer 2013 collection, I was really craving a simple, pared down collection after seeing so many bonkers outfits on the cobbles of Somerset House’s courtyard, there really is only so much a girl can take. Adam’s collection was like a breath of fresh air with it’s clean lines, elongated silhouette, subtle detailing and simple colour palette. The mainly monochrome colour palette was livened up with injections of yellow, my favourite was the lemon mini skirt covered with sheaths of black. The tailored minimalism combined with subtle elegance for a strong, architectural look. The real delight was in the detailing – sheer organza layering, high peplums and beautiful fabrics.
