Bill Gaytten’s final Dior collection – Dior Resort 2013.

This week, Bill Gaytten marked the end of his temporary custody of Dior with his final collection for the iconic house – resort 2013. The collection was very wearable and sympathetic to the house’s history with an emphasis on waistlines. Featuring voluminous skirts, belted dresses, sharply tailored riding jackets, corseted tops and peplums, the collection provides pretty pieces and gorgeous silhouettes. During his time at the helm of Dior, he has followed a tried-and-tested formula to safeguard the house. I’m really looking forward to seeing Raf Simons’ first collection for Dior during couture week next month.
