A couple of months ago, the lovely folks at Next asked me to take part in their international style challenge. To celebrate the launch of their Australian site, they have selected ten bloggers from the UK and ten bloggers from Australia to represent their country in the Brit vs Aussie style-off.
There were lots of pretty dresses to choose from but I picked a pair of blue floral palazzo pants as I wanted a real challenge. The brief was to style a piece to reflect British heritage as well as your own style. To me, these trousers epitomise British style as they’re a bit eccentric and unexpected. British style, particularly London style, is a bit of a mish mash and looks very thrown together so I added a subtle print clash with some leopard print platforms which are only just seen. I kept the top half simple to play up the vibrant colour and print of the trousers but had to get some cheeky cut outs and sheer sleeves in to balance out the swathes of fabric in the palazzo pants.

Love your look and your hair looks amazing.
Those pants are gorgeous. I don't know what your other choices were but these pants are incredible and you styled them so well (I especially love barely visible leopard print). How do we vote for you?xxmaya
