The dates for the September fashion weeks are set.
After months of speculation, the four fashion capitals have come together and agreed the show dates for each fashion week. The Spring 2013 collections will show in New York from 6th-13th September, in London from 14-18th September, Milan from 18-25th September and Paris from 25th September til the 2nd of October.

Exciting combination, right? Most collaborations these days are big, well known brands so I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Karen Walker was collaborating with Anthropologie. Though she’s slightly under the radar, Karen Walker is a favourite among the fashion blogger set. Her quirky, girly collection of cute dresses in her signature fun prints and bold hues is hitting stores in March.

More exciting news from the land of collaborations, and it’s been a long time coming. Burlesque vixen Dita von Teese is designing a 26-piece collection for Target. Launching on 8th February in first in Australia and then globally next year, the collection features vintage-inspired balconette bras, briefs, garters and bustiers .
Mini Crawford lands her first campaign.
What were you doing when you were 10 years old? Playing with Barbie dolls? Doing your homework? Good, me too. Cindy Crawford’s 10 year old daughter Kaia Gerber just landed a Versace campaign. Granted, it’s for Versace’s debut kids collection – Young Versace – but still, that is one hell of an entrance into the world of modelling. Donatella Versace stated: “Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her … Having Cindy on-set for the shoot took me back to all the amazing Avedon shoots we worked on together.”

The final Versace x H&M was launched yesterday, promptly crashing the site! It was down for hours and they eventually tweeted the following statement: “We’re very sorry for the tech problems during today’s #VersaceforHM launch. We’re working on expanding capacity for more visitors”. Needless to say, the collection was an instant sell out but if you’re desperate for a piece, there’s bound to be hundreds of items available on eBay already.
