If ever we needed a bit of cheering up, it’s today. Major post Bank Holiday blues over here. So thank God for Lanvin’s autumn/winter 2011 campaign which is just too cool for school. The images surfaced a few weeks ago and feature Karen Elson and Raquel Zimmermann making some serious shapes while being photographed by Steven Meisel. It instantly stood out as a really fun, vibrant campaign with a bit of a story behind it, rather than the blank stares and highly styled looks of most fashion houses. The video takes the fun and cranks it up a notch or four, the perfect remedy to the back to work blues. I am so learning the dance in time for FNO!
ahhh I love this Lanvin video…brought a smile to my face!
So ridiculously fun. People seem to be taking the bad dancing (the result of playing one of those motion sensing Xbox games) way too seriously and hating on the campaign for nothing. I want to hug Alber.
I love the look of the room. I actually spent some sleuthing time tracking down the elements used in the set design.
