If you ever wondered what Gareth Pugh couture may look like, today is your lucky day. Katie Shillingford, fashion editor at Dazed, got married recently in a custom blue-grey slashed chiffon gown with a huge train and a veil by Stephen Jones. I know it won’t be to everyone’s taste. It’s not really traditional but I’m a fan. Your wedding day should be about you, not fitting into ideals and I’m glad Katie stayed true to herself. Pictures capture a snapshot in time, not only will her pictures capture a beautiful day, they absolutely capture the mode du jour. Soft yet gothic yet romantic; words can’t adequately describe the beauty of this gown, so enjoy the images.
I actually really, really love her hair!
This is beautiful. I love it.
Wow I love it. So unique – especially with the hair!www.styleonthecouch.com
Such a beautiful and unusual dress. I love it when brides wear something that really represents their own style at their wedding, rather than a standard dress.
Sophisticated for sure, totally the handwriting of Gareth Pugh. later, FashionLifeCoach
