On days when you realise you have 15 minutes to get dressed, pack your bag and leave the house, it’s good to have a little trick up your sleeve to add a bit of effortless edge to an outfit. I picked up this kimono from Primark a couple of days ago and I’m so pleased with it. I’ve been after a slouchy cover up I can chuck on casually or dress up for work. I’ve seen kimonos in Topshop but couldn’t justify £45 so I’m glad I snapped up this £15 bargain from good old Primark. It’s totally transformed my really basic outfit into something a little more distinctive. I also threw in a little subtle double denim in the outfit, the wedges are really old but absolute essentials in my wardrobe, proving that ‘old is gold’.

This modern take on kimono's is really growing on me. I really need to get one, or maybe I could even have a go at sewing one up myself. 🙂 Hmmmmm floral, pastel or both is the question!Florrie x
