This morning, I found myself transported to Bottega Veneta’s magical, rich and opulent world, full of vibrant colour and soft texture. Or…their website. I wanted to check out the autumn/winter 2011 campaign but ended up looking through the archives and Tomas Maier’s favourite pieces. Like Balenciaga’s new website, Bottega Veneta have invested heavily into the content and media used on the site, building something really interactive. As well as the campaigns, they have news about special projects, the perfume launch, campaign videos, collection videos, collection galleries and anything else someone who has an affinity with the brand would want to see and interact with.
Anywhoo, onto the reason I went onto the site in the first place: the campaign. Shot by Robert Polidori and featuring Isabeli Fontana, the campaign is stunning. So rich in colour and texture I just want to reach out and stroke it.
I couldn’t resist posting some images from past campaigns, they are equally stunning and timeless.
