The one upside of unseasonable chilly weather is being able to coo over snugly coats and knitwear without breaking out in a sweat. I don’t know about you, but I usually find shopping at this time of year unbearable, it’s (usually) hot and instead of finding holiday clothes, the shops are already bringing in thick knits, faux furs and scarves. I’ve already began earmarking pieces to add to my wardrobe for winter and right on the top of the list is a beautiful quilted Barbour Gold Label by Temperley jacket. Not the most obvious choice is Temperley is known for her prints and beautiful fabric but I think the pairing works really well. Adding a bit of Temperley glamour to Barbour’s iconic waxed jackets and quilted coats has transformed them from country walk classics to country chic in the city. Prices vary from £379 to £899 for outerwear and £249 to £349 exclusively at My Wardrobe.
