Having recently posted about the trend for brightly coloured lace dresses, when the Very site contacted me to do a product review I picked this pretty blue dress by Love Label. The colour was quite unusual and the shape looked good, fit and flare shapes are always flattering plus the low back was a nice detail. I like that the lining is slightly shorter than the lace overlay which shows off the pretty fabric. There were also some good reviews, it had four stars our of a possible five overall which is very promising.
When I received the dress, I noticed that the colour was a bit more vibrant than the pictures. I had been expecting this as one of the reviews on site mentioned it and I actually preferred the zingier colour. It fit absolutely perfect but the length was a little longer than the images on the site which suited me as that means it’s suitable to wear to work too. When I did wear it to work, I got so many compliments, more than with any other item of clothing! Due to the colour, it’s a very eye-catching dress so make sure you’re prepared to turn heads in it!
The dress costs £38 and I was very impressed with the quality. The dress zips up fine with no snagging whatsoever (I hate it when it’s difficult to do up a dress) and the fabric feels nice and is comfortable to wear all day and well into the evening. I would definitely recommend this dress, in fact if they did additional colours I would buy them. I think it looks a lot prettier in person.
A super huge thanks to Niran of Yin & Yang for taking these outfit post snaps.
