Last week, I posted about my time at Brighton Fashion Week, but it wasn’t all hard work on the front row for Fiona and I. We took a stroll down to the pier to experience a stereotypical Brighton day, avec our homies Steph from Deer Brains and Mariana from Sketchbook. If something was on the list of things to do whilst in Brighton, we did it. Hanging out on the pier? Check. Hogging the deckchairs? Done. Chips on the beach? Oh yes. Riding on the carousel? You betcha. I attempted to take outfit posts on the beach, it wasn’t a good idea! Fiona’s vintage skirt was definitely a good idea though, especially as it matches with the graffiti we found scattered all over town.
I absolutely adore the skirt I wore, which is from Miss Selfridge. I was in store just browsing to kill time but just had to have it. I’ve been a big fan of semi sheer skirts for a while but the asymmetric cut of this skirt made me want it instantly. As it was a bright, sunny day, I paired it with a shocking pink sheer top from New Look. I adore the huge sequins, I kept the accessories simple and just wore a subtle necklace from Gogo Philips with it. Again with the matching, I wore a brown vintage belt and brown heels from Asos.
This looks like such a fun day, Reena! Love your outfit! See you manana 🙂
