Does this outfit seem a little 90s to you? It does to me, but I kind of like it. It’s sort of mismatched and effortless, perfect for mooching around the East End then! The fab jumpsuit was gifted to me by the sweet PR team for Komodo, who are an ecologically-produced, Organic, Fairtrade fashion company. Being green and ethical has become a bit of a buzz-word over the last couple of years, but Komodo is the real deal. Established over 20 years ago, Joe Komodo works with the factories themselves in Nepal as well as charities such as Free Tibet.
The collection is lovely and on trend as you can tell. Prints and bright colours feature heavily. I’m becoming a bit of a playsuit/jumpsuit/romper fiend at the moment but this one instantly jumped out at me. I was glad I chose it as it’s such a statement piece and really lightweight and comfy to wear. The ditsy floral print actually works really well in such a big piece, proving that you can wear this sort of print all over! As the jumpsuit is printed, I kept the rest of the outfit simple with tan coloured accessories. Although the jumpsuit comes with a matching fabric belt, I thought this looked better tied a bit loosely to keep with the casual feel but the cropped jacket gave the outfit a bit more definition and nipped in shape.
The gorgeous chunky heels are from Mellow Yellow courtesy of Sarenza, the bag is by Alexander Wang and denim jacket is from River Island.
