Last week, I had the pleasure of being invited to a clothing launch with a difference. Pepperberry, sister brand of Bravissimo, is launching next Monday and will be a Godsend for many. Most clothing brands design for smaller sizes and this obviously doesn’t work well for those with curves. It sounds rather obvious when designing women’s clothing but most retailers and manufacturers don’t really cater for those with a larger bust. Pepperberry cater for sizes ranging from 8-18 but here’s the really clever bit, every single size comes in three different bust sizes: curvy, really curvy and super curvy. This means actually buying clothes in the right size rather going up a size or two to have enough room for your boobs.
Now it’s not just for ladies with larger boobs – if it were I’m sure I wouldn’t have been invited! The curvy size is very similar to standard highstreet sizes and they also design clothes with underwear in mind, so you won’t have uber thin straps which expose your bra strap for example. The clothes are always cut to accentuate your figure, with dresses nipping in at the waist to create a sculpted, hour-glass figure. I was really impressed by how considered everything was. It’s definitely a brand which celebrates femininity and curves, we definitely need more of that on the highstreet.
