In the two years since Jayne Pierson launched her debut collection, she’s gained a steady momentum and been featured in the likes of Vogue Italia, Vogue UK, FAshion 156, Another magazine, Glamour and Grazia. Her Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, entitled ‘Kingdom of Shadows’ focuses on the juxtapose between restrained tailoring and soft draping to flatter the female form. Silhouettes and shapes are very conceptual, with inspiration coming from Kubrick films, sixteenth and seventeenth century anatomists and the photography of Joel Peter Witkin.
Not really a fan of the styling though.
