Last year, I posted about the news that actress/fashionista Emma Watson was going to build on her already impressive CV by designing a line with British brand Alberta Ferretti. No stranger to moonlighting as a designer, Emma has already designed for eco-brand People Tree, but I think her partnership with Alberta Ferretti is a completely different kettle of fish.
The range seems to have been delayed slightly as it was due to be out just after Christmas. The range is small but very pretty and basic but still on trend with prices ranging from $340 to $1010 and some of the proceeds going towards People Tree. The denim shorts, floaty blouses and dresses are in keeping with the huge 70s trend but they are pared down enough to be worn for the next couple of seasons. In that respect, I think it’s a very safe collection, not that that’s a bad thing. My favourite piece is the beautiful maxi, it just looks so nonchalant and effortless. What do you think of the range?
Emma's line looks beautiful! The looks are effortlessly stylish.xxMeera
