The opening couple of seconds of the show gave a teasing glimpse into the theme of the show : silhouette. The shapes were gorgeous, especially the fitted dresses which fluted out into a super cute skater-style skirt. The fluted skirt detail was also mirrored with some pleated necklines and double collars. These pieces contrasted with more loose fitting, boxy dresses and coats. Long billowing palazzo pants also made a brief appearance but the collection was very much about dresses and skirts. The colours were surprisingly bright for an Autumn/Winter collection, and for 9am on the opening day! Pops of apple green, red, orange and blush pink really woke me up, they were also a handful of florals and geometric prints in the collection. Tartan played a huge part on the collection, in both red and green. A gorgeously tailored collection.
Great looks! xx
I was at the Paul Costelloe show last year and thought his collection was amazing! This one looks great too, I really like the heritage theme and the autumn florals – beautiful but also wearable. Looks like you had a fab time 🙂 x
