As I work in e-commerce, I tend to move with the trends and new innovations within the industry. In short, I’m fickle and like shiny new technology! I used to be a prolific eBayer, I was hooked on the adrenaline rush; the products and service was pretty good at best but downright misleading at worst with fake products, dodgy descriptions and uber late deliveries. My enthusiasm has waned in recent years in favour of the new e-commerce model du jour – the designer discount website.
There are lots of websites in the US but not many in the UK. Brand Alley is probably one of the biggest on this side of the pond, they approached me recently and I was very intrigued to find out more about how it all works. So, what’s it all about?! You need to sign up with them to see the sales, there are new sales starting pretty much every day and you get a handy reminder email summarising all the sales everyday. They have tons of designer sales, think D&G, Moschino, Calvin Klein as well as French Connection, Sugarhill Boutique and homewear brands at up to 70% off. After browsing for weeks, I decided to take the plunge and go for some classic Rayban Wayfarers. They were a mere £69 instead of £120-odd which is a bargain! They have some fab sales on at the moment (Comptoir Des Cotonniers, Peter Pilotto, Fendi sunglasses, Tweezerman and CK Underwear). I’m particularly excited about the Muubaa sale which starts tomorrow, the leather jackets are buttersoft and utterly gorgeous.
Here are my gorgeous new sunglasses, I think the absolute bargain sent me a little loopy/snap happy!
they look amazing on you!
Are you signed up to Cocosa? also good.. same sort of thing as brand alley where you need to be a 'member'. And don't forget about asos outlet 😉 x
Aw lovely Raybans they really suit you! I have the black and red Rayban Warfarers and they are literally my most prized possession ha x
It was after you bought those I signed up to Brand Alley, loving it. I do like me a bit of Cocosa too…Carol xwww.mystylisms.blogspot.com
