If you follow me on Twitter or have spoken to me during London Fashion Week, you will know I have an almost unhealthy obsession with Vitamin Water. I drink it all the time, when I’m tired, worse for wear (read: hungover) or just lacking in energy. It’s like a super-drink, always sorts me out. I’ve been pretty much living off the stuff for the past few days as there is barely enough time to drink let alone eat. As if getting me through LFW wasn’t enough, the lovely people at Vitamin Water also majorly hooked me up with a hot ticket- the Osman show at BFC!!
The Osman vision for Spring/Summer 2011 was very much back to basics, simplicity akin to Calvin Klein. Minimalist tailored instant classics on the whole, with a sprinkling of draping and pleating to keep it interesting. One of the main messages seemed to be colour, tan, beige and navy were interjected with lime greens and bright yellows. It sounds like it shouldn’t have worked but it did somehow. The pared-back collection has stood out amongst other louder, more showy collections as a mature and sophisticated take on summer.
Hello! I just realised I snapped you at LFW, I thought I recognised you!You looked great, hope you had fun…Katie Styleswww.katiewstyles.blogspot.com
