On Monday night I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Jacques Townhouse. I scurried along after work not really knowing what to expect. As soon as I stepped through the doors a felt a little like Alice must have done after she fell down the rabbit hole. It took my eyes a second or two to get used to this strange peculiarly wonderful land I found myself in. Slap bang in the middle of central London was this strange place, whitewashed walls and floors, beautiful ornaments around and bellboys to assist with pretty much anything!

The nocturnal soiree hosted by Jacques was the most girly fun I’ve had in a long time. Based on a quintessential English tea party with a twist: there’s a dress up room full of vintage goodies and stylists on hand, a powder room hosted by Benefit, a mini studio for some commemorative snaps, a lounging room, a bar and fortune tellers! That’s a lot to squeeze into the Grade I listed townhouse.

Now I had no idea why this pop-up girly soiree venue was here until I visited the bar…Jacques is a cider company! I’ve only ever had a sip of cider before branding it disgusting. But Jacques is really fruity and the red flavour is pretty delicious. Try and visit if you can, it’s such a unique night out and it’s only on til Friday sign up here

There is a marble in your tea? Did you put that in there or was that a surprise at the end? Knowing me I would have choked on it and it would not have been pretty!Oh and Jacques townhouse looks beautiful!
