Back when the weather was nice and sunny, I found myself in Islington on my way to the SuperSweet Showroom press day. I thought it was very sweet of them to hold a bloggers only press day on a Saturday, for bloggers like myself who work full-time, trekking to London after work can be a bit much. I was excited to go as they stock some amazing brands on the site like Sretsis, Munchu’s and three ASFOUR, as well as shoes from Opening Ceremony. There were so many covetable items.
Absolutely love the skull necklace!! Mafia jewellery
Munchu’s jewellery by Ploy
Munchu’s – Munchu’s was launched in 2004, and showed at the first Bangkok Fashion Week a year later. The designer describes her style as ‘modern romantic’. I would definitely agree with this description. I loved the gorgeous light fabrics. Sienna Miller is a big fan, she had a stunning gold jumpsuit especially made for her.
The picture doesn’t do this jumpsuit justice
ThreeASFOUR – New York based label ThreeASFOUR’s stunning designs have been snapped up by many museums including the Victoria & Albert and Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art. Last year, Yoko Ono collaborated with the label on a special collection – Iconoclastic. The collection is both inspired by Yoko and also features some of her illustrations as prints.
Picture does not do the print or draping justice!
Sretsis – Sretsis was my absolute favourite, I have a mental shopping list as long as my arm now! Designer Pim Sukhahuta opened her boutique during her time at Parsons. Her Autumn/Winter 2010 collection uses very pretty, delicate fabrics and a cat print called ‘Smitten Kitten’ which I absolutely adore. Super Sweet don’t stock Sretsis but the Spring/Summer 2010 collection is available on ASOS.
