Rare Opulence

I’ve been a fan of high-street label Rare Fashion for a while. When I was invited to have a sneak peek at their new premium collection, Opulence, I couldn’t wait. High-street has been going high-end for a while now, with the likes of Lipsy launching their VIP collection, Topshop’s Unique and Boutique collections and New Look’s Idol and Limited Edition range. From what I’ve seen, these collections have been pretty well received so it seems like a good move.

Opulence is a stunningly beautiful 15-piece collection, with a slightly higher price point of £70-£180. I was very impressed with the collection, actually I think blown away could be a more accurate description. The clothes and designs themselves were much more distinctive and covetable than the main line, but the fabrics, quality and detailing is what makes the collection live up to it’s name. Beautiful chiffon, leather, rhinestones, silk, flowers..beautiful!

The collection

The fantastic hoop dress and the pretty floral dress

The rose jacket, one of my favourite pieces

The ‘Versace’ dress (totally 90s Versace super sexy) and the mesh and leather dress..amazing!

My absolute favourite, the beaded bustier. Perfect for the underwear as outerwear trend.

Here are some close ups, so you can get a feel for how sumptuous the fabrics and detailing are.

This looks amazing. I also spotted in my ASOS magazine. I am definitely favouring quality over quantity at the moment and really want the beaded bustier.
