Last week, I had possibly one of the best evenings of my life. The lovely, amazing, fabulous people of Self Service UK held the launch party for Tom Binn’s collaboration for Disney couture, with a private screening of the new Alice in Wonderland movie! It’s not the first time CFDA winner Tom Binns has worked with Disney on a jewellery collaboration, but being Alice in Wonderland, this collection was bound to be special. The designs are inspired by Alice, the White Queen, the Red Queen, the Mad Hatter and of course the White Rabbit.
There were two collections, Tom Binns for Disney Couture which is a gorgeous 35 piece collection and Tom Binns for Disney Signature which consists of 6 high-end limited edition pieces. Both collections are so covetable, there are lots of cute little Alice references like tea cups with lace accents and swarovski crystals. They will be available on ASOS and in Selfridges Wonder Rooms very soon!
”Capturing the wonder of Lewis Carroll’s timeless story, married with the wonderful world of Disney and Tim Burton’s interpretation, this film offers so much philosophical fantasy and peculiar surreal imagination,” explained Tom Binns. “It opens up a labyrinth of doors for my particular way of seeing the world, allowing me to express my fashion experience with my interest in art and cinema.
As well as seeing the stunning jewellery, it was great bumping into some blogger friends – Marian looked very Alice and Fiona from Save Our Shoes looked absolutely adorable.

BIG HUGE thank you to Carina and the gang at Self Service. Oh and Alice in Wonderland is absolutely amazing I wanted to see it again straight after the credits began to roll. Typical Tim Burton and Johnny Depp at his best. Go and watch it now!
