This week, the finalists for the CFDA Fashion Awards 2010 were announced this week in an exclusive event hosted by Nadja Swarovski and Diane von Furstenberg. All the nominations are very well deserved, but I did notice that there is a distinct lack of female designers. I’m happy that Alexander McQueen will be honoured posthumously for a special award and think that Christopher Bailey really does deserve the International award for his work at Burberry.

Ohhhh sad about the lack of women.
Hi there-lots of worthy nominees here! have a great week!
SO many good designers being nominated, it so hard to pick a favorite. I think Donna Karan hasn't got the attention she deserves lately, so maybe I'm on her side on the womenswear league. I hate to spam, but I wanted to tell you that my blog birthday party continues with second giveaway. Come try your luck!juliet xxx
