The fantastic team who whisked myself and some fellow bloggers to Paris have given me 2 Eurostar tickets to giveaway! How exciting, this is my first giveaway ever and what a fabulous prize! Ok so you want to know how to enter, right? Just answer the following question, either by commenting on this post or writing you own blogpost. And the question is…
“What would you do on your little break to Paris, if money were no object?”
My answer would involve champagne, a helicopter ride over Paris, beaucoup de shopping and a private tour of the Eiffel Tower at sunset, but I’m sure you have much better ideas so get thinking! The competition ends on 2nd September, with the overall winner announced on the 9th September.

OMG, that sounds so awesome ๐ And a very fab prize for your first giveaway! The last time I was in Paris I was only 12 years old ^_^ So starry eyed. Hrm, if money was no object? I'd see all the sights! The art museums, the eiffel tower, notre dame. Then I'd shop in the finest boutiques. Then visit the old cafes I used to hang around when I was there, surround myself with artists and beautiful people. And find that lovely restaurant where I had dinner practically every night (Mussels in cream and white wine, delicious). On a warm evening I'd drink champagne from a flute and walk barefoot down the river in a beautiful dress and dream of Ernest Hemingway's Paris.Oh how I love Paris…
I am actually going to Europe in October so this would come in handy! I plan to explore the shops on food, eat macaroons at Laduree, drink un cafe with a view of Champs Elysee and visit the Eiffel Tower!
Wow, this is amazing. If money were no object, I'd set up camp at the very top of the Eiffel Tower. On the lower floors I'd have a chef to feed me the finest of culinery delights that Paris has to offer, I'd have Karl Lagerfeld over to stay and I'd throw a dinner party with Eva Green and Audrey Tatou. Oh, and I'd probably buy out every boutique in the area!x
Oh wow, what an amazing prize! If I had a money no object trip to Paris, I'd of course hit the shops, buy a fantastic outfit or two, and then take on all the sites and visit all the most amazing places (food, galleries, the tower) and drink it all in.Can you tell I've never been to Paris and I'm itching to go!
What an awesome giveaway…too bad I am not in Europe. I have never been to Europe sadly. If I were to go to Paris I would spend every second appreciating the amazing historical architecture!
I'd book an appointment to view the couture lines in Chanel and Dior, and of course try them on and order some (money is not object, right?) (I would also hope to meet Karl and John in this process)..I'd also book the top of the eiffle tower for me and my friends or perhaps a hot french man and have a delish dinner..Other than those, Paris is Paris.. the architecture, history, macaroons, art, people, food, cafes, shopping, lights and even the streets make my heart skip a beat..xx-LJ from SOS!
What a terrific giveaway! I'm already in Paris, so it's not fair to join, but if you were giving away a trip from Paris to London and back, I'd be the first to join ๐ Good luck to any participants!
Wow what a giveaway! I posted my own thoughts on my blog as this is one not to be missed!! http://the-style-hideaway.blogspot.com/2009/08/oh-mes-jours.html Hope all is well! x x x
Heres my bit for the Paris comp!http://www.wescreamstyle.blogspot.com
Oh, this may be the answer to my "too poor for a holiday" dilemma! If money were no object I would book myself into the Coco Chanel suite at the Paris Ritz, one of the worlds most expensive hotel rooms. Then I would spend the afternoon shopping before sipping Champagne in my room as I got dressed in all my new purchases. At Twilight I would have dinner on a private boat cruise down the Seine before Cocktails at the top of the Eiffel Tower (which has been reserved privately just for me, obviously). I would like to look out across Paris in the dark.
I am really considering trip in Europe by train!it is so cool!!
MY GOODNESS! Fabulous prize…but even just the mere thought of spending a day in Paris is sending me into such blissful dreaming right this moment! IF MONEY WERE NO OBJECT, I would bring the hubby (his my best friend!) with me to Paris and stay at the luxurious Four Season George V hotel along Champs Elysees…we'll do a promenade along the fashionable and historical avenue. We head out for a dinner with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Next day, we'll make a grand tour of the city streets, sample the cafes, and indulge in serious art viewing at the Louvre. Then I'll hit the Paris designer shops and pick all the fall pieces I've admired in the latest magazines. After getting all that shopping, we go for a lovely drive to Versailles and Giverny. haha! I've now overdosed on my day dreams.Nice blog, by the way!
I love this contest. How did I miss this???For my getaway to Paris, I would book out the entire Michelin-starred restaurant that I ate in at the Hotel Bristol on my last stay… In lieu of the stuffy Plaza Athenee (from my last girls' trip), I would stay at the warmer Costes, a boutique near Hermes. Of course, this would lead me to select a custom made purse from the famed leather goods shop. Then I would promptly go to Colette with my love, my Mr., who enjoys shopping almost as much as I do, and we would enjoy a private shopping tour with our private guides… After that, we would hire a driver for the evening, to take us around some of the luxe night spots in town, as taxis are unreliable and small there and roads are bumpy! :)Then, because we'd stay up all night in our hotel suite, trying on all the fabulous clothing we purchased that day and collapse in gluttony on the bed. LOL.
Oh wow. I think I'd take a helicopter ride over the city, taking in the sights. Then I'd land at the louvre and dine with the famous paintings!mynaturalanthem.blogspot.com
first and foremost, i'd see my friends in paris because money or not, i value my good friends and their friendship! it would be super to see them, meet them, as well as meet new interesting, good vibe individuals! :)i'd go clubbing and shopping in paris, fall in love with a gorgeous french man, go sight-seeing (u know do the tourist sort, as i've never been to europe nor paris before), watch amazing french films in the theaters, eat macaroons and enjoy lovely french cuisine, visit the couture stores, try my best to meet some fashionable individuals in paris, definitely head over to the conde nast paris / vogue paris building to speak with carine roitfeld about any internship or job opportunities, meet olivier theyskens and lie on a bed of white sheets with him, etc.so much to do – if money was not an object *sigh*. x.
I just absolutely adore your blog!Amazing outfit ideas and the shoes, amazing as well! I'm a shoe addict myself. That is a fabulous prize! I thought I'd give it a try, hopefully your still taking submissions?I've never been outside of the U.S. and it would be an amazing experience. Especially since I hope to move there once I graduate and can find a job."What would you do on your little break to Paris, if money were no object?"It would be a dream to actually go to Paris, I'm studying french right now actually and am registered as a French major at my college. I would stay at the L'Hotel, originally the Hotel d'Alsace, where Oscar Wilde spent the last days of his life. As for a guest to come with me, how could I go without taking my mother? She's really an inspiration and would love to visit Paris. While I was there I would enjoy the Parisian atmosphere in the best way possible, eating at little Bistro's and Cafe's while having lunch at some of the amazing restaurants Paris has to offer. Not to mention spending alot of time with the Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre. Shopping would be a must in Paris! Only the best stores of course! haha. We'd probably do some of the usual sightseeing, one place we'd especially love to visit would be Versailles. I just love studying the architecture and the history of the French people , it would just be an awe-inspiring trip to be able to live among the history for a few days, or as long as I could! It would be a great experience, one that would stay with me or whoever wins the prize for thir entire life!
I know i "missed the train" with this (: but hey – champagne and a helicopter ride? together? i hope you don't planning on flying it yourself in your wild dream:) I think that a champagne in EuroDisney is enough, but well, if i missed the giveaway, i think i just have to order it with LMT by myself, hope to find a native French Disney hotel though, it will be a real experience, even without the drinks ๐
