What a difference a week makes! Today, I shopped in Ikea and Primarni, last week I was whisked away to Paris by the lovely We Are Social girls, courtesy of Eurostar. They planned a fantastic day out for myself and Selina from Flying Saucer, Amna from Disco Nap, Vanessa, Disney Roller Girl, Claire from Young Shields, Kit from Style Slicker & Carl from Inspire the Starling. It was actually my first time in Paris, look it’s the Eiffel Tower!! Oh and the lovely bloggers I met, and who helped make this trip to enjoyable and memorable.
It was a great opportunity to meet some truly wonderful bloggers, and talk fashion for an entire day! Me (left) with Claire and Kit.
After visiting Colette and indulging in some retail therapy Parisian style, we enjoyed a long, leisurely lunch at B4 and had a presentation by Marion Cointot who recently won the Concours de Style award. She showed us some of her latest designs and talked us through her career, which included a stint at Christian Lacroix! We drank beaucoup de champagne…which always makes me happy 🙂
We also went to Les Arts Décoratifs to see the Madeleine Vionnet exhibition, which absolutely blew me away. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to finish the tour but it’s on until January next year so I am definitely returning to Paris! All aboard for the champagne tasting cruise! Can you see the running theme throughout the day?!
Ohhh and one of my personal (slightly sad) highlights was walking through Jardin des Tuileries, I’ve poured over countless images snapped during Paris Fashion with with the gardens as the background and I was there! Ok geek moment over! I fell head over heels for Paris and I’m already planning my return.
Wow, that sounds like a really fabulous time!
Sounds amazing!I've seen the exhibition too and can't remember how little Vionnet was referenced in fashion magazines until recently. I'm glad the house is being relaunched though. x

Great stuff! I recently went there for a hen weekend ( a sophisticated one!) and it was just gorgeous, and so easy to get there, I thought must do it again soon. We didn't look anywhere near as stylish as you girls though!
