OMG….Rodarte for Target!!
Wow! As beautifully covetable as Rodarte dresses are, they’re more works of art than commercial Target clothing fit for mere mortals. But apparently the deal is done, Rodarte for Target is hitting stores 20th December-6th February and prices will range from $9.99-$79.99. A Target spokesman had this to say: “What you’ll notice is an amazing eye for detail. It’s very feminine, yet very modern. The collection incorporates a rich mix of patterns and fabrications and everything from sequins and bows to faux fur. The key with Rodarte is layering.” *Note to self, book flights to America, ASAP!*
Love…again
Sneak peak of the new issue of Love, courtesy of Vogue. As with the first issue, it looks as if this is from an editorial rather than the cover. Interesting nonetheless, the theme seems to be ‘New Blood: The Young & The Restless’. The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus are said to be in the issue.
Lanvin Fall 09 Campaign
Kristen McMenamy shot my Meisel. Striking, not least because of the cats!
Riccardo Tisci’s Greatest Hits
Tisci’s Redux collection, which was launched in June, was a capsule collection of his ‘greatest hits’. This is set to be a regular collection rather than a one off, with two collections a year. The first is going on sale in October, focusing in studs. Prices start at a mere $350…bargain!
Vanity Fair’s Best Dressed List 2009

In brief:
Prada postponed: Prada has an extension until 2012 to pay back its $450m loan, relieving pressure to sell a stake in the iconic brand.
Wang online: Alexander Wang’s online store launched today, as he “love[s] the idea of shopping in bed.”
Copenhagen: Copenhagen Fashion Week has officially kicked off. My round up is coming soon!

I want to fly to America too!
Absolutely love the 40's, structured lady-like theme that runs through the Lanvin campaign. Wondering how I can combine that with the 80's studs and shoulderpads Balmain thing to create a look all of my own!x
