Gucci Group reshuffle A major game of musical chairs is going on in the Gucci Group – Fredrick Lukoff is leaving Lanvin where he is Director of Business Development to join Stella Maccartney as President and CEO. The current holder of that post, Marco Bizzarri, is moving on to Bottega Veneta. Gosh…I thought planning who goes where at the Christmas party was a nightmare…!
Vogue: The Movie For real…it’s happening!! Last year, La Wintour gave permission for some people from a network access to Vogue offices to document what went on behind the scenes of the September 07 issue of Vogue. Although it never made it to tv…it’s being considered for Sundance Film Festival!! Can’t wait to find out if the devil really does wear Prada…
Claudia’s putting the Y is Yves Saint Laurent The Spring 09 YSL campaign is an iconic affair – The iconic tux jacket worn on the iconic 90s Super Claudia Schiffer in front of the iconic Hollywood Hills sign. The campaign, which was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and overseen by Stefano Pilati, is set to appear in February fashion magazines and the shot of Claudia in front of the Y is rumoured to be the front cover of the Spring 09 YSL Manifesto, handed out next Valentine’s Day.
Bringing Sprouse back Marc Jacobs is paying homage to the late Stephen Sprouse, with a limited edition collection of accessories and ready-to-wear. The collections feature two iconic Sprouse motifs – graffiti and the rose. The collection is inspired by Sprouse’s 2001 collaboration with Louis Vuitton and will hit stores on 9th January. In celebration, Jacobs will grace January’s Harper’s Bazaar nude…and painted in Sprouse’s graffiti!
Super Supreme Model Apologies, that kinda makes her sound like a Pizza Hut model or something! The winner of Supreme / V Magazine’s model search is the gorgeous Addison Gill. I’m sure the cute Canadian will follow the footsteps of previous winner Amanda Laine.
